What Does One Week of Progress Look Like?

As you could see from our previous post, the new layout of the house involves quite a bit of demolition and reconstruction, lowering ceilings in some areas and raising them in others, raising the height of the doors, repositioning the electricity sockets and light switches to match the new layout… You get the idea.
We found a really professional building company to do the job (Klussenbedrijf Chuckie) and we’re really happy with the progress so far.

Here are some pictures.

Built-in closets are gone from the master bedroom
Bye bye old bathroom!
The ceiling in the hallway will be raised
Those tubes in the office room-to-be need to be accessible so we'll build storage around them
View of the laundry room-to-be. All door frames are gone.
